FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do you have a test site I can look at to see how it works?

  • Yes!  Take a look at SmithTeam.com our test website and click on “Listing Feeds” to get an example.  Choose a listing on the site, copy the address and paste it into the Google search box… go ahead, try it… you’ll like what you see. (tip: listings from the example site might show up under the SearchingSolutions.com domain name)

I have a Wordpress website already, will this integrate into my current site?

  • Yes.  As long as you meet the other requirements:  IDX feed, access to website hosting control panel, and ability to FTP files to your server.  However, this option is not available during the Beta Testing phase.

Is there a limit to the number of listings I can display on the website?

  • No, there is not currently a limit to the number of listings(posts) that can be created on your site, but depending on the site architecture, the search engines may have a hard time finding all the pages if there are too many or if the listings are too deep within the site.

What should I do if I don’t have a WordPress website currently set up?

  • We will set one up for you! Simply Click Here to pick the template you like, then go to our order form.

Do I have access to the Site to Make Customizations?

  • No. Currently all changes and customizations to the site must be requested through submitting a support ticket, and may cost extra depending on the level of customization.

What areas of the country does this currently support?

  • It depends on if your IDX provider supports custom RSS feed creation.  Currently, most markets allow these feeds to be created.  Contact Diverse Solutions for a complete list.  If your area is not supported, we suggest trying ListingPress.

I Registered a city for my site. Is it exclusive to me?

  • Yes. Regardless of size, each city is exclusive to the registrant and the monthly fee will never be increased. In other words, you are the only person allowed to feed listings from that city on to your website. This helps to prevent over saturation and encourages people to register for their cities as early as possible.

Why does Property INDEXER charge a setup fee?

  • A number of reasons… first of all, the knowledge of how to get listings into the search engines is proprietary (you won’t find it anywhere else).  Second: there are real estate web companies that charge $10,000 for an entry level website with the similar features (thus, this price point seemed very reasonable).  Third: We register a new website for you and spend a large amount of time customizing each site and category feed so it is tailored for you.
